Feeding recommendation:
A combination of top quality feeding hay and/or fresh grass should form the main part of your rabbit's diet and should be available to eat at any time. Including a small portion of Excel nuggets and an occasional Excel Nature Snack can help to add variety and support your rabbit emotionally. A small amount of leafy grains can also be beneficial. Ensure fresh, cleaning drinking water is always available. Consult your vet for further information on optimising your rabbit's health and diet.
If you are currently feeding your rabbit a muesli-style food, transfer them slowly onto a feeding plan including hay and nuggets over the space of around 14-28 days. This can be done by gradually reducing the amount of muesli and increasing the amount of nuggets until they have completely replaced it.
Be sure to regularly monitor your rabbit's weight. Speak to your vet if you are ever concerned about your rabbit's feeding or health.
