Canine OM Obesity Management is also suitable for dogs with diabetes. Obesity can have an adverse effect on your pet such as reduced mobility and a lower life expectancy. Feeding Guide:
Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets Canine OM Obesity Management is dietetic dry food for adult dogs.
The recommended feeding amounts are only guidelines and should be adapted to suit the individual needs of your pet to ensure that it maintains an ideal body weight.
Please consult your vet if you have any queries and please make sure that your pet always has fresh drinking water available.
After consultation with your vet you should mix an increasing amount of new food with a decreasing amount of the old food over a period of 7 days until you are feeding your pet only with the new food.
Feed only the recommended quantity of food. Make sure the food is measured (ideally weighed) each day to ensure you are feeding the correct amount.
If you want to give any treats, ideally use kibble from the daily ration.
You do not need to add any further nutrients and doing so may reduce the effectiveness of this pet food.

Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets Canine OM Obesity Management is not recommended for dogs that need a higher calorie intake such as puppies or pregnant bitches.
